Liverpool swept aside Burton Albion to move into the next round with a 5-0 victory.
Divock Origi opened the scoring for the visitors inside 15 minutes, slotting home from close range after some impressive build-up play by Sadio Mane.
Roberto Firmino doubled Liverpool lead seven minutes later, heading Nathaniel Clyne delivery into the back of the net.
Tom Naylor then diverted into his own net from a corner in the second half before Daniel Sturridge completed the scoring late on with a double, first converting a James Milner cross and then lashing home his second goal a few minutes afterwards.
